Two years ago this is what Brayden looked like.
My sweet baby girl.
These are both pictures of Brayden and Kaleb's first time at the lake taken by the same photographer...my sister, Debbie.
It's fun for me to compare to see how different or similar they are. In these pictures they look an awful lot alike.
At Lake Holiday then...
She ended up catching four fish. Two catfish and two blue gill.
She had a blast chasing around Coby, Uncle Scott's dog.
...and then Ghost, my other uncle's dog, came to play too.
I thought this was a cute picture that my sister took of her little boy, Blake, peaking over at Kaleb while he was sleeping.

The Morton Arboretum
Here Brooke and Brayden are playing in the Children's Garden.
The arboretum is full of beautiful flowers, trees, ponds, and trails to walk through it all.

We were so lucky to be able be in town when my grandparents flew in. Since we no longer live in Utah we miss seeing them all the time like we used to. It was so great to see them again and have them meet Kaleb for the first time. And of course they were able to see the little firecracker that Brayden has turned into.
Well, we sure had a fun time and a much needed break. Thank you Grandma and Papa Wardell. Brayden sure misses you.
Hope everybody has a great Independence Day weekend.

Brandon starts school back up on Monday. I think we are a lot more rejuvenated now to face his third year of dental school.
When we got back home his results from the board exam were waiting in the mail.
He passed with flying colors. He did really well and we are relieved that that is over with.
Happy 4th of July!

Great pictures and video that capture a great two week vacation! Can't wait until you come again! Congrats to Brandon on his test results!
Clams at Lake Michigan? I didn't know that. Your kids do look a lot a like, but Kaleb is a chunker!
I have a picture of Uncle Scott teaching me to fish sitting at the edge of the pier like that - I was probably 7 or 8. Some things never change! Nor should they! Those pictures are so great!
