After last years camping adventure in late November left us in 19 degree weather to sleep in, we decided to try again, but a little bit earlier this time.
If we would've gone a few days earlier or a day later we would have been basking in a comfortable 60 degree night, but the way our luck had it, it was more like 35 degrees. And there was a ban on all campfires. So we did what we do best and slept in a hotel...again.
But we still enjoyed the outdoors while we were there with our friends.
We got there and started dinner up right away. The kids played at a nearby park.
It was so nice not having to set up a tent.
We played a lot of soccer and kickball and fun games in the park.
And I sat on the sidelines as much as I could to watch.
