After deciding to stay in Texas for a little bit longer it was very apparant that we still needed to move. We are bursting at the seems of our small 1059 sq ft 2 bedroom house. We moved into that house when Brayden was 4 months old and were only planning on staying through dental school for 4 years. Well, it's been 5 and still counting. Once Kaleb was born, we were at our max. Then baby Ky came and I have been going crazy trying to find my sanity with no space in our little house.
We put our house on the market back in May and were able to find some buyers within a couple months. We're in the process of closing in a few weeks and in the meantime, we've been building a new house to live in.
Here is the nice corner lot we chose.
The foundation
Framing stage
Siding was put up
Beginning to lay the brick.
The exterior is just about done.
Our driveway was put in.
And lastly, our garage door was painted and fence was put up.
Viola!
It's been just under three months from start to finish.
We're scheduled to close on October 15th. After closing, the grass and trees will be put in.
We come to visit often and can't wait to make it officially ours!
Here's Brayden on her first day of kindergarten.
She was so excited she woke up at 3am and almost every 30 minutes following. When it came time to actually wake up for school, we all slept in. She had 15 minutes to get ready. I think she looks pretty cute anyway.
This Kysen back in August at 7 months old.
And here he is in September at 8 months old.
He's an army crawling pro these days and he's very happy about his new abilities.
Kaleb started preschool 2 times a week at a nearby gymnastics gym so he gets to do gymnastics as well as school. I'm a horrible mom and am going to give him "middle child syndrome" cause I didn't get a single picture of his first day. It wears him out pretty good and this is how I found him sleeping one afternoon :)
