Last weekend we went to Padre Island to Malaquite beach.
We had a torrential down pour in San Antonio but the forecast looked clear in Corpus and the storms were moving north so we headed out there anyway. We drove through huge storms the whole way. It wasn't looking promising but about 10 minutes away from the beach the sky became clear and we had a beautiful day. One of the best beach trips ever because it was overcast and the sun and sand weren't too hot.
We always stop at the surf shop to get a few things each year.
Kysen was fearless and loved to splash around in the shore.
Kaleb, Brayden, and Daddy were busy looking for crabs in the sand and sea shells, and any type of sea creature for that matter.
They found something. Luckily it was painless.
This was the group this year.
(Watsons, us, Flores, Robinsons, Doolittles, Adames, Masons)
And we had a special visit from Grandma Joy (Brandon's mom) who came with us. She needed some dental work done so she came for a week. It was nice to have help with the kids and an extra set of eyes on them.
Until next year...
