Welcoming the New Year

We've had lots a fun being with family this holiday and sad that it's coming to an end. We've done lots of fun things and here are some pictures to recap a little of our adventures.

Getting a Check-up

Brayden sat very still, opened wide and had her teeth counted. Her favorite part was the water.

She finally got to see a real snowman! Playing with Cousins Brayden finally met her new cousins Blake and Drew. Here she is with Blake. We didn't get a picture of her holding Drew because he wasn't feeling well.

It was so funny watching Brayden follow the older girls around wanting to do everything they did. Anyone who knows her knows that playing dress up just isn't her thing. But this night she wanted to be one of the girls.

We went to the mall so they could ride the train. Trains are Brayden's thing.

Here are all of Brayden's cousins minus one who didn't want to be in the picture. As you can see Brayden didn't either. She doesn't like to be restrained too much.

We went to the pet store where they let us hold and play with the animals.

Brayden picked a puppy out that looks just like her ol' pal Sparky.

Wicked Brandon got me tickets for Christmas to go see "Wicked" which was playing downtown Chicago. He knew the perfect gift to get me. We had a great time. It's a really good show. And here's a beautiful side shot of my ever-growing belly. Getting Family Pictures Taken This is always a fun event...family pictures. Since all of us were in town this year we had a nice large family picture taken. It actually went really well. This picture was one of the last ones; all the grandchildren with Grandma and Papa, so Brayden had had enough. Once again, she doesn't do so well being restrained. And then we snapped one of just us for fun. We've had an incredible year. We can't believe another has flown by. I'm just excited that this is the year our baby will be born and then I won't have to be pregnant anymore! Hope you all have a happy new year as well!
