We had such a fun time at "Family Night" at the YMCA. Every few weeks during the summer they put together a little pool party on the weekend for families with children to come and have a good time.

Besides swimming in the big pool there were so many other activities to enjoy.

They had this little blow-up pool and slip-n-slide out front.
The slip-n-slide was a big hit with my kids.

Brayden got the hang of it eventually and was able to slide pretty far.

This picture looks like Kaleb is sliding, but that's as far as he got. He mostly would just run and then slide on his bum to get the most effect.

That's a big sister for ya.

They enjoyed many popsicles...

I wish I had my video camera with me. They were playing music and the kids were doing the hokey poky and dancing really funny.

We were surprised by a visit from Dora!

Brayden worked hard on this ring toss to win a squirt gun. Kaleb got one as well just for being cute.

And then there was the big blow-up water slide. Brayden was brave even after a rough first time landing wrong, but then got the hang of it.

Anticipating the splash.

Kaleb enjoyed playing with the basketballs.
Check out his form in the next picture. I didn't even teach him that. He could barely see over this black thing and I was impressed with how high he got the ball up there.

Next, it was his turn on the slide. He was too afraid to try it by himself. I don't blame him. He probably would've gotten worked at the bottom, but with daddy he had a blast!

It's hard to believe summer is coming to an end and school is starting soon.
Brayden will be starting preschool in a few weeks and she is super excited!
Here is a completely unrelated video of Kaleb playing one of his favorite games showing how smart he is...
The second part of the video will make sense if you're familiar with
this post.
