This was one of our first times visiting Brandon for lunch five years ago during his first year of dental school. Brayden was 6 months old. Back then we came to see him once a week, every Wednesday.
I often think back at how easy it was back then to be able to visit once a week.
Now we're lucky if we visit him at all during the year.
Brayden had Good Friday off from school so we headed over to daddy's school to have lunch with him....probably for the last time while he's a "student" here.

By the time I remembered I wanted to take a picture I had put Kysen in the carrier and didn't want to mess with getting him out.

UTSAHSC has been good to us.
(University of Texas, San Antonio Health Science Center for those wondering what the heck that stands for).
Brandon has enjoyed his time there and we've made so many memories.
He only has a few more months left with his AEGD program and we found out this week that he got the job we wanted.
He will be working for the Community Health Clinic right here in SA so we're going to be here for another three years. The big deal about this place is that on top of a generous yearly salary, the gov't will pay off most of our loans within the next three years. Because Brandon did this year long AEGD program to get advanced training they are starting him out at a "three years experience" dentist instead of one (he's only been out of dental school for one year) so this last year of training was well worth it.
We're looking forward to this next phase...
