Swiper Swiped Dora

Dora and Swiper came to our house to see Brayden on Halloween.
Before we all got ready to go out I dressed up and came to the front door.
Brayden answered it and excitedly screamed,
"Dora! Daddy, it's Dora!"
Brandon played along and exclaimed,
"Wow, Brayden, Dora came to visit you!"
Brayden then says to me,
"No, you're mommy. You're just pretending to be Dora."
Oh well. I couldn't trick her but she had fun pretending with me.
Minnie Mouse We went to the library all dressed up the day before Halloween for their costume parade. Once it was over Brayden wanted to play on the computer for a little while. There was a little girl sitting next to her that wanted to talk to her.
"My name is Sophia. What's your name?"
Brayden responded,
"I'm Minnie Mouse."
She would not break character.
Mickey We had some problems with Kaleb wearing his ears. Poor guy got snapped three times from the strap...once from Brayden trying to put them on his head and twice from himself. He would pull on it to try to take it off and then let go and snap himself in the face. It was so sad. Brandon came up with a solution. He put the strap underneath his armpits and around his chest. This is why in the next picture it looks like he can't put his arms down or move his head. lol. We all had lots of fun dressing up. We went trick or treating to our neighbors and nearby friends. It's wonderful having nice weather out here on Halloween because everybody sits outside and most were at the end of their driveway handing out candy. It made it so easy. Especially with a double stroller. By sunset we made it back to our house and Brayden had just as much fun handing out the candy to the trick or treaters. Surprisingly we actually got them to bed on time. During the day on Halloween we went to a nearby church's fall festival. Here Brayden is sitting on a donkey. We waited in line forever for the pony ride. It was her first time riding a pony.
She was in heaven.
We didn't want to wait in line to go into the petting zoo...but reaching through the fence worked just as good. Last we rode the hay ride pulled by these little ponies.
We had a great time.

We never made it around to painting our pumpkins this year... but we did carve one.

Kaleb's First Halloween

The first thing he wanted to do was suck on it.

We were all trying so hard to get him to smile so Brayden started screaming thinking she was being funny...
...but Kaleb didn't think so and instead she made him cry:(
Hope everyone had a great holiday!
