The Arctic Blast of San Antonio

Just days after the blizzard hit the Midwest, we got our own snow. It was pretty neat to be a part of all the excitement.

I guess it hasn't snowed down here like this since around 1985.

It was a little bit icy in the morning, and oh the drama!

Nobody went into work, the freeways were dead, and schools were closed...

And this is what it looked like by 10am.

Originally Brandon's school was only going to be closed till noon, but then he got word that it was cancelled all day. Too funny. We enjoyed having him home though.

And the kids enjoyed playing in the snow!

Brandon managed to put together a few snowballs for them and they even made snow angels.
